What's the best way to remove paint from an old mirror?

Someone had painted directly on the mirror for decorative purposes (unknown type of paint).

Take a single edged razor blade (you can buy cheap holders for them) and scrape the paint off holding the blade at an angle.
Use a razor blade scraper.
Try warm water and soap to soften the paint and then use a razor blade and carefully scrape it away.

Alcohol.. spray bottle it on your mirror, wipe off.. may need to repeat if it's thick!!
