If you are dealing with a hole, you can make a screen patch. Your local hardware store should sell screen material. Cut out an appropriate sized patch and sew it in place using a needle and nylon thread.
If you don't want to replace the entire screen, use clear light weight plastic sewing thread with a curved upholstery needle. They come in all sizes and I use the smallest one in the set. Take your time and it's hardly visible. Good luck.
