Succulent plant

Last Fall, before frost, I dug up a large succulent plant at my wife's request, and placed it in a large pot. I put it under my only southern window, in my man cave. I must have done something right as it grew to 5 1/2' tall with flowers all the way up. We used Miracle Grow potting soil. Watered once a week.

Re-pot them in succulent soil in the next size pot with drainage holes.Succulents like to remain more on the dry side so be careful of over watering. House plant fertilization should stop now and resume after St Patricks day

You can transplant succulents anytime. I use regular potting soil in my pots but soil for cactus works well too, just make sure they drain well.

You can transplant at any time. You can purchase cactus and succulent mix, bagged soil at any nursery or home improvement store or make your own. Here are some links!

Put them i a container tall enough to be able to handle the weight with drainage hole and succulent soil

My wife has it but can't remember the name. Yes it's still alive. After flowering, the long shaft with the flowers died back to the lower plant. It's doing well. She thinks the common name might be pancake or such.
