Have you tried baking soda? It's fairly gentle but very effective as a scrub.

Any cleaners will give off some kind of odors. To really clean porcelain or fiberglass tub/showers is to use Easy Off No fume Oven Cleaner in the BLUE can. Spray it on, let it foam, and sit till it liquefies. Then rinse. Once you get it really clean you can use milder cleaners that don't give off to much odor.

Jm02176, As the mother of a Nurse Practitioner, I can tell you what they use in hospitals and in doctor's offices to kill germs (which cause odors) and keep things looking presentable: hydrogen peroxide. My daughter uses it by the gallon full at home. It's used to clean sinks, cabinet tops, shower walls, tubs, kitchen appliances (toasters, microwave handles, refrigerator handles, stove knobs, faucets, etc). She sprays it on a soft cloth to wipe off phones, keyboards, tv controls, doorknobs, light switches .. anything that would be touched by hands. When my grandchildren were little she would put some in hot water and a bit of dish soap to sanitize their toy blocks and cars, and anything else she could get wet without ruining. I know she also uses vinegar for things, too. OH --- the peroxide and the vinegar are also used alternately rather than using bleach. So just replace the vinegar with hydrogen peroxide. I guarantee you will be pleased with the results ;) (You may want to boost it even further with some baking soda as a light abrasive that won't scratch up acrylic but will help remove the tough spots. ;) Thanks for asking HOMETALK

To clean the inside of the acrylic bathtub, fill it with warm water and add 3 or 4 squirts of dish liquid. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Let the tub drain and use your sponge to wipe away the residue. If you notice that you still have some stubborn spots that did not lift during the soak, pour some baking soda on the sponge and rub gently in a circular motion. I use the Dawn and vinegar for the sides of the shower stall, and for the bottom I make a paste of Cascade dishwasher detergent (the powdered kind) and spread it on the bottom of the shower. Scrub it in real good and let it sit for a couple hours, then rinse off. This keeps mine pretty clean.
