there are cord covers available. Not expensive either. Do not cover with carpet or rugs. Big box diy store carries them.

Oh, I know that feeling! When we got a new TV 'stand' we got the one made of black glass. I didn't know WHAT to do with the cords. I finally ended up hiding them between the table/stand and a set of speakers. One thing that helped was tying them together with twist ties so they were as thin as possible. I wanted my hubby to build kind of a 3 sided box |__________________| that would go between the TV & the wall, but he was laid up all summer first with gall bladder surgery, then with a broken elbow. Poor guy. I knew the box wouldn't get built. The idea was to put the long straight edge against the table then put the cords in the open area, but since that wasn't possible I made those speakers work. Ours is in a corner so I had a lot of room to work with and it turned out okay. Here are some ideas from a google search. To see more information, click on the picture then, on the right, click on Visit. To go back to continue looking, first use your back button to get to the picture, then just use the X on the upper right of the picture and all the others will come back.

    Hope that helps.

Command cord hangers By 3M. Follow the directions on the package, and they won't damage your walls. And you don't need no screws.
