I would like some ideas on how to landscape. You can not see in the picture but it is on a slope that makes it dangerous to mow. I am thinking about making two flat areas with a transition down to the lake.
I am wondering if I should put the firepit with rocks instead of lawn. Any ideas or picture would be appreciated.

i LOVE the water. I would do a cascading waterfall On the flat areas put a small
fish or plant pond You can also make a bridge to cross the cascading water. Stone with entire area with river rock except make a pocnic are on one flat and a sitting area in the one closest to the lake.
Put in one or two terraces for flat areas for fire pits or whatever you want.
