When do I cut back my mums?

    I would wait until they get affected by the cold weather, they are fairly tolerant of much cooler weather.

    You are a little late you cut back 1st of July for sturdier blooms to come in fall, I don't cut mine back until spring
  • Why? Just deadhead when the blooms are spent or the leaves naturally wither.

    Hi Peggy. I cut mine down late fall after they start to die off. I live in WI so sometimes I have to wait until spring.

    after the plants are all done flowerin. It's going to be a while. Mums are Fall flowers. And a lot of the time last till theres snow on the ground. Just enjoy them
