  • I have a small rug under the pet dishes. I like all cotton, although sometimes hard to find. Easy to launder.

I bought the new dish drainer pads that absorb the water from drying dishes. They work great and are a good size. Won't harm wood floors and are great for the water bowls.

    A sponge back, wipeable placemat!

Hello! A rubber dish drainer tray is best — it has a lip all around the edge. The tray is nice since it is waterproof and catches any inadvertent spills!

We have two dogs and I use a microfiber rug without a rubber backing but is no slip because the fibers loop on the bottom. Machine wash like a dream, I found it at IKEA.
