PLEASE HELP
Guys
There was an old stain on a suede jacket ( tan color) I used Oxy clean and scrubbed it and let it remain n it for a few hours-later washed it out but on drying its left a larger stain and family member is LIVID
what can I do? How to remedy this?
1. Should I just wash it all without detergent and let it dry in order for the color to be uniform again?
Thanks

Here is a link on a few things you can try. I wish you luck!

  • Is the garment real suede or microfiber suede? Real suede needs to be taken to a professional leather cleaner.

Suede should only be cleaned with suede cleaner or taken to a profession dry cleaner that deals with suede. Even they can't guarantee there will not be a color change.

Suede should not be washed. At this point now the damage has been done and not sure if you can do anything about it. If you can't find anything to try you might as well try washing it as there would be nothing else to do but throw it out. If its an area that could be patched over you could always try using a decorative patch or some sort of thing to cover the spot.

You should never . Your best bet is to take it to a cleaner and see if they have any suggestions. Washing it again is not going to help.

You were trying to do a good thing. It didn't turn out right. You are sorry. You apologized. Family member need to accept your apology. Family member needs to do laundry. Family member needs to get over it. 😇❤️
