Rag wreaths are so fun to make! I've continued practicing this craft and wanted to show the result of a recent one I made for Halloween. This project was completed while watching TV over a 2 hour period.

fun project with only a few supplies

This is a fun project with only a few supplies.

How to make the loop

Cut or tear your fabric approximately 5-6". This fabric example is how you loop the strip on the metal wreath form.

Next step is pull the loose ends through loop

Hold the top of the loop with your finger and pull the tails (the two loose ends) up through the loop. Pull it snug.

an example of the loops & strips

Here is an example of the strips and what they look like when you have them on the wreath frame.I used scraps of fabric I already had, including some scraps from a ribbed shirt, a metal wreath frame from the dollar store, a cut up Halloween scarf from the dollar store, large "googly" eyes from the dollar store, and a pre-made bow from the dollar store.

another view with eyes attached

I pinned the large eyes onto the wreath when I had it put together, but, they could also be glued.

Finished wreath

My finished Halloween wreath.
