Perhaps Command strips would work? There are a wide variety of sizes.
Try the heavy duty Command hooks.
YOU NEED TO BUY, AT WALMART OR HOME DEPOT, THE SPECIAL SCREWS WITH THE PLASTIC COVERS ( TUBES ) OVER THE SCREW, AS YOU SCREW IN TO THE WALL THE PLASTIC OPENS UP IN THE PLASTER WALL AND SHOULD HOLD MOST ITEMS
what are the walls made of?
Command strips are good. Don't know thick the walls are but monkey hooks may work as well.
