My tulip bulbs- put in an old pail- are sprouting. What should I do

    plant them up.

    You need to plant them before the ground freezes!!!

    remove from the pot and plant them

    Cool them (garage?) put the pail in a dark plastic bag until it's cool enough to plant them. Don't worry a little pre-mature sprouting won't hurt them.

    Plant them in the fall for next spring.

    Either put them in the coldest part of the refrigerator, or go ahead and plant them in individual buckets or pots. Then give them for Autumn presents to people who would appreciate them. Or you could go ahead and set them in a flowerbed as a surprise for your family and neighbors. Go buy some more bulbs and keep them in the fridge. Best wishes 😇
