OOOoooo! Reminds me of my sweet mother in law. Fresh mint leaves in sweeeet iced tea. As for other uses perhaps in a sachet bag (or netting) in a lingerie drawer? I honestly don't remember MIL using it for any other purpose. Thanks for the reminder. Mint is on my 'must plant' next year.

Lots of different mints. Most make teas. Use to flavor meat such as pork and lamb. Also make pretty ice cubes for drinks. Peppermint repels mice and ants.
Tea, and talk to someone who makes "fragrance oils" for ideas as to how to distill the oil from it.

If someone has breathing problems or is ill boil water with some mint leaves , put a towel over the person and the bowl, it won't take long they'll be breathing. My daughter was severely asthmatic mint and spearmint leaves work great.
