I have mold on the black out liner of my drapes.

What is the best way to remove it without damaging the material.

    Use straight white distilled vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray down the affected areas well and let it sit for awhile-45 minutes or an hour- then wipe it off with a cloth and water. Repeat if necessary. Good luck!

    wash in washing machine with about 2 cups of vinagar and laundry soap. Dry in hot Dryer....if the liner will take it.

      Thank you but these are draperies on a very large window and need profesionly hung. I will try the vinegar and laundry soap

    In addition to cleaning your drapes, you have a much bigger problem. What caused the mold? Some kinds of mold can be very dangerous in the home.

    We live by the water so it happens when I have draperies closed for a long period of time. Have had it all tested we are good. Thank you!
