They have to be re-potted. Fungus gnats lay eggs in the soil.Spraying them will not be enough to kill the infestation
They also get into kitchen drain pipes I try and use a steamer and shoot the mist down into drains
I use mason jars and straight Apple cider vinegar. Put nail holes in top...they go in and can't get out. Works great for me. Hate those little buggers!!!
I had a terrible gnat problem and the vinegar traps worked perfectly! Simply place a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar or white vinegar, a few drops of dish soap, and a tablespoon of sugar in a bowl and stir. Set your bowl in an area where gnats are prevalent, such as your kitchen or bathroom. This took care of my problem in just a couple of days!
