I really hate to strip and sand and just want to slap it on some bookshelves and play with it. Will it work or does it have to be on bare wood? Thanks!
Some things need to be sanded, some need a primer before painting. I stick with a good grade of paint like Sherwin Williams or Behr.
are you referring to a post????
Not sure if you were referring to a prior post. However, I would like to try to answer your question. First and foremost, there is NO SUCH THING AS ZERO PREP PAINT! Prep is not a bad four letter word. There are some pieces that you will need to only clean well, with a degreaser. Everything else will more than likely need not only the degreaser, but a light sand. Try using Fusion Mineral Paint for one of your projects. You will love its coverage and ease of use.
