Start by calling your local library to see if they have books you can take out, on this subject. Also check there to see if they subscribe to Brides Magazine. Next find a craft store, A.C.Moore, or Michael's, and see if they can help you. Best Wishes.

For my daughter's wedding reception, we scavenged all kinds of different bottles and jars for centerpieces and bought assorted fresh flowers to use in them for the tables. Everything was different, a complete hodge podge of colors, shapes and sizes, but all were clear glass. Thrift shops are the best! Also we did the same for the place settings for food - except we used single china plates, salad plates and small dishes for dessert serving. We stacked the settings together intentionally mis-matching. All this over white table cloths, in the evening with candles and lanterns in a national park recreation building built of logs. It was unforgettable and just gorgeous. Not to mention the saved $$. Plus, they get to use the china pieces for everyday now! Don't hesitate to go outside the norm and be creative!

I had a wedding in India. As you understand there were a lot of different decorations. For this we hired a decorator. I found him on special service for wedding planning( wedding.net). I think this is the best option.
