WD40 or nail polish remover.
soak i hot water and dawn and then try using a scraper . Nail polish remover will work but may dull the surface
I used paint thinner one time, worked great
wd 40,plain oil,peanut butter
Alcohol or acetone
Try goo gone again, only this time spray it on the bottle or can, leaving the can on its side with the glue facing up. Then put a paper towel over where you sprayed the goo gone, spray it again, and let it sit for an hour or so, propping the bottle or can so it won't roll around. The glue should come off easily.
I use spray oil, like for cooking. Spray each spot then turn it so that the oil doesn't drip. Wait a few minutes {yes, minutes} and then use a spoon edge or a credit card and scrape it off. Works very quickly.
I always use WD 40!
On the tin, fingernail polish remover or try heating up the spot with a hairdryer (be sure to wear an oven mitt on the hand that will touch the tin can. I don't know if the acetone will destroy the plastic bottles
Hi Emily, WD-40 or Surgical Spirit will remove the sticky glue residue. I’ve also heard great things about Goo Gone
