One year we had a drought here in Indiana, so I planted my onions next to my potatoes the onions made the eyes on the potatoes water so the drought did not bother my crop, have you ever knew that? Phil Street

Hello Philastreet :) I have never heard of such a thing, but I do know that onions shouldn't be planted next to potatoes because for reasons unknown they can stunt the growth of potatoes ... but making their eyes "cry" enough to water a crop? Never heard of such a thing! LOL --- you are such a jokester! (I have to remember this and tell my Aunt LOL)
