One landed in my lampshade just last night and it couldn't get out. I felt bad after it died though and felt I probably should've put it outside. They can't help that they stink, lol, it's just their natural defense mechanism. But to answer your question, I don't know. There are usually some good ideas on YouTube or any gardening website about bug repellants. We get a few of them in our house also. If I'm near a door, I just toss them back outside and wash my hands after.

Hello Berttyperkins.54bh :) At MY house we take a folded piece of toilet paper and pick it up without squashing it, then we flush it down the toilet wrapped in the toilet paper, but here are two weblinks that have ideas:

I absolutely hates these things when I lived in New Jersey. The only solution I ever found was squishing them, and you know how gross that is.

Go to YouTube for stink bugs. I think that's where I saw a trap. I believe it's a wide bowl with 2" water with spoonful of liquid dish soap to reduce water surface tension so they sink. Put bowl under a close bright light in a dark room. Bugs attracted to light & fall into soapy water! We had them because they reproduce in pecan trees that surround the house... don't think they have enemiles that eat them. If you catch them, dont squeeze them because they release odor that attracts other bugs

Pick them up gently with a bit of tissue then flush them. Any pushing them around or poking at them like my dog does, will cause them to release an odor that just attracts more.
