Lots of effort and a sharp scraper. I think they sell ones with long poles for removing linoleum, that's better for your back.
Removing the carpet will be one thing.
The next question is what are you planning to do with the floor area next? In AZ sunrooms are usually concrete based/slab no basement. Has the carpet been glued directly on to the concrete in the sunroom floor?
Should be able to be pull it up starting at one corner. should only be stuck at perimeter.

If you do get all the glue off, then I would suggest that you go for the paint and epoxy kit rather than just paint.
I have used the Rustoleum Expoxy Shield kit (for concrete garage floors) and if applied properly it does hold up very well in the AZ heat, as some was unded on the outdoor patio as well. It feels really nice on bare feet, is not slippery, and can be washed easily.
Our porch had indoor outdoor glued. We pulled it up and then used a grinder on it to get rid of the glue remnants. The remnants of the glue were at the edges so it wasn't as time consuming as we thought but still a lot of work
