For the tub itself, you will need to use a special product made just for tub surfaces. Otherwise, it will just peel right off. For the bathroom walls, use a good quality kitchen & bath paint that will stand up to moisture, humidity, etc. Check your local home center to see what options are available in your area.

My sister had a basement shower that needed painting. We got her the aroma free Kilz paint to cover the walls. It worked great for her.

Hi Pam, the best way to paint your tub is to use a paint that's designed for shower trays and that's totally resistant to detergents (even bleach). Your local hardware should be able to guide you. I have heard great things about RustOleum Tub & Tile, but I've only seen it in white. Most of the work will go into prepping the bathtub, but this video will guide you through the process - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9m1kBzOjhI
