Mother used to turn off the freezer, remove all the food, then place a large pan with hot tap water in the freezer(don't use boiling water.. it may melt the plastic interior) to help melt the ice faster (door closed)... today... a blow dryer work well to get the stubborn spots... wipe out with vinegar and water .... dry 1st with a towel and then finish with paper towel...replace the food and turn the freezer back on.

If push goes to shove, you can mix alcohol with water and spray it on. You can try a 1:1 ratio if that doesn't work, add some more alcohol to mixture. it's good for ice on your car, too!
