No matter what I use, how I do it, cloths I use, my windows always come out streaked, even cloudy it is not noticeable until the sun hits and they look terrible. I have researched using different cleaners, both bought and home made. Still a problem. Any suggestions

You may not be getting all the cleaner off, or all the dirt. Try giving them a rinse with vinegar water to get the soap residue off. My mom always uses ammonia water to wash, vinegar water to rinse and news paper or good paper towels to dry and hers always sparkle. I do the same, but I dry with lint free cloths or microfiber. I still think that hers come out better than mine.

I use a 50/50 vinegar to water solution and paper towels. Do on cloudy day or late when sun isn't shining on window. May have to do more than once to get all the dirt, smoke or grease off

Coffee filters work great. They are lint free. Use the large basket type used for coffee urns. They also work great for mirrors. They also can be used to separate fine China bowls when storing or packing.
