I recently toured the Japanese garden in Portland Oregon and noticed That they sell boxes of moss seed. I was wondering if anyone has purchased this and tried growing it in their home garden

I live in the UK. We have moss grow where ground is constantly damp, so if you can give it those conditions , it should be fine.........

No..but it sounds amazing for a rock garden. I think the winter weather in Japan is fairly cold so could suit your climate. Worth a try -depending on how expensive they are? If you do, would love you to post more about it. :)

I tried a cutted plant to roots...by cover the cut part in a ball of moist moss plant and plant them in hole in ground...dont drown them,,,it works for my broke off rubber plant.... in few weeks you can check for new roots.
