It's still in the fiber backing and probably the pad and subfloor.

When the cleaners came did you tell them you had the dog urine smell in the house before they came or did it come out after they left? If you had it before then came, did you tell them about it? If not, it's probably like Bijous_2010 said. It's probably in the backing, pad and subfloor. A cleaner should have a product that can go deep to get that smell out. The best thing is something that cleans out organic smells (Dog urine is organic). If you did tell them, and it's worse now, I'd call them to come back. However if they didn't know, they would have no reason to use that special cleaner and that puts it on you. :(

Only thing that gets out pet urine odor is an enyzme cleaner for pet urine. I prefer the tablets you mix with some warm water, then apply with either a spray bottle, a carpet cleaner or a bucket and flood a non-porous area. https://www.amazon.com/Fizzion-Refill-Pouch-2-23oz-bottles/dp/B00CWGRNCI/ref=sr_1_46?ie=UTF8&qid=1507418247&sr=8-46&keywords=pet+enzyme+cleaner why pay for water?

If the subfloor is saturated with your dog's urine, you might have to remove the subfloor if its been going on for a long time.

Get the black light flashlight so you can find all the spots including check walls for marking. https://www.amazon.com/Spots-Light-Blacklight-Flashlight-Ultraviolet/dp/B00ZBB0U1M/ref=sr_1_36?ie=UTF8&qid=1507418410&sr=8-36&keywords=pet+enzyme+cleaner

Odoban! Soak the area well, scrub into pad, blot up as much as you can, place tin foil, towels and then a pile of books and leave overnight. Odoban is a Lowes or Home Depot.

If you know where the urine stains were you could try putting baking soda deep in the nap of the carpet and leaving it set for several days. If it doesn't help you can always spray white vinegar on the baking power. Vinegar is sort of a urine neutralizer.

I have had cat urine in the carpet in the basement from my son's hybrid cat. I sprayed the areas with vinegar, enough to saturate the carpet, padding and hopefully the floor which I assume is cement. I had to redo a couple of spots, but the odor was gone once it all dried. I have used vinegar water on many accidents and it took care of it. Vinegar is my go to for a lot of things. It also is an excellent antibacterial and antifungal to make sure things are really clean.
