You should call someone to get to the root of the problem. Find out what's causing the flooding, then go from there. For instance, your sump pump may need replacing, etc.

Fix the flooding problem. Your floor is going to suffer with each flood and conceal mold and mildew which will make the basement a health hazard. Call a reputable company and get at the root of the problem.

You need to find where the water is coming in.... and put in a) french drain to divert the water to the street and storm drain, b) put extensions on the gutter downspouts to move the water away from the house, and make sure gutters are clean and in good repair, c) waterproof the basement walls after filling all cracks with a waterproof paint like Dryloc. d) if water is wicking up through the concrete floor, seal it was a hydrophobic sealer.

You need to solve the flooding problem. It will get worse and can cause a multitude of problems. Call in a professional flood control company. A great and easy solution would be to install a perimeter drain system that goes into a sump pit and gets pumped out.
