Vinegar and water work fairly well.
Pour straight white vinegar into the machine and run a complete cycle. It should clean like brand new.
you can try this: Remove all items from your dishwasher. Remove the dishwasher filter. Soak the filter in the sink with warm water and soap for 10 minutes. Replace the filter. Measure one cup of white vinegar. Add ½ up of baking soda. Pour vinegar and baking soda mix in the bottom of the dishwasher. Run dishwasher on heavy cleaning cycle.

Add 1/4 cup of white vinegar to the bottom of the door each time you wash dishes in it. It cleans the spots off your glassware, and keeps the calcium buildup dissolved. Keep a 1/2 gallon next to the dishwasher soap at all times!
