along edge the fingerprints and smudges get remain can not get them off it looks terrible...

alcohol works well
Have u tried windex? How about a bit of rubbing alcohol - it's great on glass. Definitely use a microfiber cloth with either because it tends to grab the grime better than paper towel s.
Use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
