I's start by checking Amazon- https://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Home-Improvement-Bathroom-Vanities/zgbs/hi/6810202011
Lowe's Hardware store or Home Depot, but I suggest Lowe's same quality cheaper price.
Look at thrift stores or habitat for humanity. Also, Facebook market place and Craig's list. Why pay retail?
Ikea
You could also look at Goodwill / Salvation Army etc. stores or antique or vintage thrift stores, Swap meets.. for a small dresser, desk, etc... that can be re-purposed to hold a vessel or regular sink. There are some things with great character out there at bargain prices.
I just purchased 2 vanities (one for each bathroom) from Habitat for Humanity Restore. White base, two large drawers, full sink/counter, brand new in box, $285 each. Made by OVE.
Try your local Habitat for Humanity store. It sounds like you're handy enough to add some details and paint to make it what you want. Win - win!
Here’s a few ideas that I found in your budget, but I’m not sure if the style your looking for and come in two colors from home depot📌🍁

Yard sales and curb give away I have one free you live to far
A used dresser would work great for this, check out garage sales, Goodwill, even your parents/grandparents basement or attic. This way you can make it be perfect for your area!
Try habitat restores and the Clearance aisle at lowes.(clearances items at Lowe's maybe something someone has special ordered but returned. Also try old chest of drawers that you could modify yourself.Patricia
Also try home depot. My hubby and I just bought a vanity top and cabinet (small but functional what we were looking for). Cost us only $89 for both pieces!.Patricia Good luck
