OOOps.. Have you tried spraying it with SHOUT (or similar product) if you spray it and let it sit a day or so... it may soften up latex paint enough to wash out. WD40 may take it out too... then pre-treat for the oily stain (easier to get out than paint)
Gasoline is dangerous and a carcinogen. Not to mention the fumes. First try hair spray. Spray the spot and gently scrape with a spoon or butter knife then blot. Goof Off will soften the paint. Again scrape off with a spoon or butter knife and blot. Wash normally.
Every time I clean my mirrors, they end up having tons of streaks and almost look worse than before I started. What could I use to clean them that won't leave streaks...

If you have already washed and machine DRIED the shorts.. you may have to put a cute patch over the paint.
