Wide window over kitchen double sink. New Granite Counters & back splash are muted colors of beige, turquois, grey, white. Cabinets tan (beige) walls around window, tan.

how about a trim or braid that you can add to the shade with fabric glue?
Add some ribbon trim
You could apply some fabric appliques cut from any fabric you want.. apply with Aleen's Flexible Stretchable or OK to Wash it glue... pin to hold till the glue drys. The glue(s) both dry clear and if the edges of the appliques are a little frayed looking... secure with an out line of fabric paint to contrast or match
