Color existing tile grout

Question

I'd like to know if I can color existing grout on my floors. Currentoy it is a medium brown color and I would like it to be either an espresso or black color. Has anyone done anything like this before without ruining the tile, and how has it held up? Thanks lots!

Never done it before, but think it could be done with Liquid Shoe Polish or Permanent Colour Pen

i think it can be stained or colored... check with your local home improvement store and see what they say... you could also remove the old grout and re-apply it using the darker color

there are products made to seal the grout....and they come in colors. Big box diy store or on line reatailer.
