Marble tile removal

We installed a marble tile backsplash in our kitchen redo. When we got the outlet covers we discovered that the spaces we left were too large for the covers. How do we remove just those tiles and replace them with better cuts? Or is there a way to cover the holes?

Clean the grout out around those tiles. Use a chisel and hammer to go behind the tile, gently and one piece at a time. As you work your way under, you may have to switch to a putty knife so that you don’t damage the wall. At some point it should loosen up and pop off.
You will want to clean the wall up before installing your new tile.
Good luck and congrats on your new kitchen!

Not sure how off the cuts are. They do make oversized plates (outlet and switch covers). If not, you should score or grind out the grout around the affected tiles first - I use my Dremel tool - then gently pry out tile. I've had great success doing this to remove and replace broken tile in floors and backsplashes. I always keep a couple extra tile on hand, taped and marked for issues like this.
