Large green worms very sharp legs eating peppers, how to rid of it

Pick off and dispose or it will eat everything very quickly. Use garden gloves. Inspect for more.

  Common sense tells me to get a pair of clippers or pruners, and clip off a few leaves in order to get rid of the worm if you are too squeamish to do with your fingers like me. One can also purchase a pair of dollar store tongs for garden purposes too. If unable to identify, place in a ziplock bag and call your local Ag Extension or a nursery that has knowledgeable staff for identification and suggested remedies.

Might be horn worms. They have a little spiky tail. If they have white tubes on their backs, they're goners anyway. There is a wasp that lays its eggs on them, then the larvae eat them from the inside out. Otherwise, just pick them off and squish them or drop them in a can with water in it. They are ugly buggers.
