Repurposing metal cabinets for kids

Do you want to turn your kids into metal cabinets or are you asking if metal cabinets are okay for kids? Or are you asking something else entirely?

I'll take on the second question: metal cabinets are just peachy for kids as long as you make sure there are no sharp edges to hurt the little ones and the corners are not too sharp or problematic for them.

If the cabinet has issues, you can put bumpers on the corners or a lock on the door. I've run into a few file cabinets over the years that I wished had bumpers on them.

Sorry, thought it was a search engine bar. I was looking for ideas to turn metal file cabinets into something cute in kids Sunday School classrooms. Like maybe have the kids put colorful handprints on the cabinets or something cute. Or just something cute for the metal cabinets in the other classrooms in church.
