Bring water and fish decor into what you have to lighten up the look. Possibly paint sconces and some of the darker pieces.

How We Blended His Rustic and Her Chic In Our Cabin Decor
I like your mantle but would try for a more asymmetrical look. Replace one of the greenery vignettes with something bulky. A glass container of pine cones? A rock? I like the mirror and sconces and would not paint. It would help to see the rest of the room.
seIf you are not concerned about funds, Hobby Lobby has so many nature pieces that will be perfect for decorating your lodge. If you like to get more bang for your buck, watch their sales. They will have multiple decor pieces for 50% off each week. I decorated our camper with a nature theme. Our bed has a quilted cover and shams, with a large black bear in the center. I ordered this set from Zulilly. I purchased matching towels from Wal Mart, for the bathroom. Since I was going for the rustic look, I bought a wire basket and placed color coordinated bath cloths in the basket and set it on the vanity. The kitchen has black bear decor on the counter. I found the cutest vintage handtowel at an antique shop. I folded it over the oven handle. I love my placemats and napkins, found them at a thrift store. They are a muted green with brown trim. The dishes support the nature theme. Take your time when decorating and have fun searching for items. Make prints of your family fishing and frame them in rustic frames. Use wrought iron scones on the walls to frame the pictures. To create warmth, drape throws, with a nature scene across chairs. You can add a pop of color by using throw pillows on the couch. Wrought iron containers with pine cones will be a great accent on tables. Oh my, wish I could could help. I love decorating! Have fun🌾🌻
Belong happy
I ordered throw pillows( I love you beary much) and pillow cases ( mama bear & papa bear) from Zulilly . I shopped thrift stores and yard sales to look for knick- knacks to use for decorative touches. Marshall's and TJ Max are good places to look for items. Honestly, I shopped with my theme in mind everywhere I went, for quite a while until I found what I wanted.
Remove everything. Paint the inside wall a beautiful green that would compliment your room. Find deers that are the right size scale to make a nature scene. Check out. Naure scenes at stores like. Bass. Pro. Shop or hunting fishing type themes. Design a scene that looks like deer in the woods in tall grass driftwood etc. Conside painting the trim in a dark nature green or nice shade of nature tree brown. Could use tree branches. Have fun designing. lindaknechtel@aol.com. interior designer
Lilian Vernon, LTD, and Terry's Village have cute items also. 👍
Your fireplace looks classy and complete, start by selecting fabric and have throw pillows make pre room then add a draped comfy throw draped over a ottoman or foot of the bed with a bed tray. Add pictures to the walls with the themes of nature and fishing, add waste paper kreal buckets in bathroom and shower curtain made from fabric of fishing along with a window treatment, then add a colored throw rug from that fabric. Hobby lobby, kohls have a lot of decortive items to dress up your lodge home. Here’s a few picture ideas
I used an old fishing creel, some driftwood, and silk foliage to make a decor piece.
Sounds like a great idea. Do you have a pic. Thanks
