Red wine. Put a little glass under you sink. They like the smell but will drown. But just some information if you see one that means you could have a whole whole lot more. They multiple every 7 days.
  • Call in the pros, they hide in places you can't get to.

Malathion 50 works great and once it dries it's safe for pets etc or do the Borax and sugar thing. Or both. My boyfriend's house was loaded and we did both. Much better now👍

Don't mess around with home remedies, if you are seeing one, you could have a whole bunch of them. A few years ago a hoarder type neighbor moved and when his mother had the house and garage cleaned out and fumigated we got them. I have no idea how long we had them, but by the time we saw them, we were pretty much infested. We tried several different exterminators, and they just pushed them from room to room. Out of desperation my husband found this stuff https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004MHGLVO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Its a little pricey, but a drop in the bucket compared to what the exterminators were charging, and all they wanted was a contract to come back monthly to spray. The kit came with 4 tubes, we used two. Our house is 2200 sq feet and they were entirely gone, never saw them again, within two weeks. We immediately saw a difference, within a week.
