we bought a live trap and moved them to way out in the country side. Don't release them anywhere within miles of your house or they come back

Since I see you have tried poison I'll throw this out there, get a couple of 5 gallon buckets and fill them half way with water, sprinkle black sunflower seeds on top of the water, place it where you know the animals are, place a board from ground to top of the bucket and sprinkle a few seeds on the board, the squirrels eat the seeds on the board go to the top of the board, see the seeds down below and jump in to get to the seeds on the water, they drown so take bucket and empty the whole thing out somewhere and go back home and repeat until you figure you've gotten rid of all of them. Good luck

Horrible!!! Sprinkle medicated powder (dollar store) where you don't want them to hang out or use a humane trap and drop them off in the woods. Jesus, Mary & Joseph .... karma?

i took out 36 chipmunks one summer doing what Warren just suggested. Had 6 in my first bucket and then 2-4 every bucket after that.

Put a mouse trap baited with peanut butter by the holes (entrance and exits are numerous for chipmunks). The snap scares the bejesus out of them and they don't come back for a while. I have even seen where the hole was closed up. I haven't caught one in the trap yet, but they stay away for a good period of time and seem to abandon that hole. You will never be rid of them, they are fairly prolific and will always be around looking for food. I also have an area that I put out scraps like stale nuts, cookies cereal, even some bird food (mine are not fond of dried corn part) I also pile up nuts that I find on the ground under trees when I go somewhere. I find they don't dig up holes in my planters if I keep them happy. In the veggie garden I drop some of the little tomatoes, like cherry and grape that have split and usually find they are kept cleaned up and they leave the rest of the veggies alone.

Critterator. You can buy these at a hardware store- They plug in to an outlet. Just plug it in as close as you can to where the varmits are doing the damage. As long as the red light on top is blinking, it's working. I've had these little suckers chew up my air conditioning vents under the house. Talk about expensive!!! The sound keeps them far away.

Really people poison, drowning😭. Used cat litter. Moth balls. Even rubber snakes.

  • Get a bag of blood meal from the nursery, spread through garden. The squirrels don't like blood smell at all and it also is a mild fertilizer
