Sort of looks like our hinoke (sp?) cypress.

Looks like it could be a young deordara cedar. http://www.monrovia.com/plant-catalog/plants/716/deodar-cedar/

It is a chamaecyparis obtusa 'Cripsii', it is an old standard. But you can consult Conifers, the illustrated Encyclopedia by D. M. van Gelderen and J.R P. van Hoey Smith. An other book is Conifers for Gardens by Richard Bitner ( http://conifersforgardens.com )

@Adrianne C It needs pruned . I lived in Defuniak Springs, FL. Back in 1974..That was when Piggly Wiggle was the only big Food Store. The small stores were all around the circle lake.
