The table is a lyre library table. So it is a long, narrow table. It is quite old and the table is no longer able to stand firmly. Do I need to take it apart and reglue? Brace it somehow?

Is the floor level & the table isn't? Or the other way around ? U don't want to change the table permanently if the prob is the floor

if it's the table unscrew that leg & place a shim of required width & then rescrew thru it

use ur level bcz it isn't immediately obvious which leg it is that needs length

  • Turn it over and see what the exact weakpoint actually is. Wood glue and a couple small "L" brackets should do the trick.

Check to see what the weak spot is and then if you can make the necessary repairs without damaging the table. Otherwise you could consult the wood shop teacher at your school if it is too hard.
