The latest trend in housekeeping is using essential oils to clean with. I have found the best solution for myself has been using peppermint spray. I have been making my own infused oils and sprays using distilled water which can also be found on my website for purchase.
Here is the edge of my bathroom sink. This isn't the worst case scenario, but you can still see the dirt and grime from day to day usage. This is about a week's worth of not being cleaned.
I sprayed my Peppermint cleaner on the sink, mirror, bath tub, and toilet. A simple wipe clean, and voila! I use this on all my house cleaning and aside from getting it clean, it smells like fresh Peppermint!
Here is my recipe for Peppermint Spray:
Place dried Peppermint leaves into crockpot
Fill pot with distilled water until the leaves are just covered
Simmer on lowest heat for 4 hours
Add preservatives (I use vodka) and allow to cool
Pour into Mason jars and store in refrigerator. When ready to use, add to spray bottles and don't forget to add your label!
