I use the Duck Brand Select. It's easy to cut and stays in place without adhesive. You can buy it anywhere housewares are sold.

This guy shows how easy it is. I never line the very top shelf. I don't know why, I just don't.

If you don't want the contact paper or the rubber textured liner, try using wallpaper or you can get place mats at the dollar tree and cut them to size. That way you can take them out wash them off and stick them back in. You can also buy the adhesive backed tiles and cut to size. I just don't like putting anything in my cabinets that has adhesive on the back, because it's a real pain to get that off.

Anne, I'm sorry, I didn't watch the rest of this video until after I answered your question. This guy didn't seem to know what he was doing!

I always measure the shelf, then measure the lining and cut it with a scissors. It will fit the shelf very nicely!

  • I have a plastic shelf liner made by Rubbermaid. I love it as it is easy to clean and was easy to cut and install. I did the entire house in the same pattern.
