Did you have a question about cleaning, arranging or building a garage?

Start by determining what is in the garage that doesn't belong there and/or are no longer needed or usable by you. Sort the remaining items by groups, throwing out (or giving to Good Will) things you don't really need ( haven't used in a year.) Put remaining items in groups and make shelves for them. A strip pf wood can be attached to the wall (make sure you attach it to several studs.)Try to have few items on the floor and only items too big/heavy to shelve.. HINT: don't put things in a box 'cuz "out of site, out of mind."

Label boxes if you have to use a container for stuff. For "eye appeal" Try to get several boxed of same size. (Side note: if you feel creative or have young kids, let them decorate the boxes.),

Make the boxes LIFTABLE esp. if you put them on a shelf greater than shoulder height.

If you park the car with the front rather close to a wall, remember you can put shelves above the front of it. You can give yourself a lot more usable space!

Good luck and have fun. Don't hesitate to show off what you have done!
