What are some projects or crafts with pine cones?

Pine cone candles, cinnamon pine cones placed throughout the house, frosted pine cones for table decor, pine cone wreaths, and pine cone trees decorated with lights and tiny balls and star for a tree, these are some of my findings and choices. Hope this helps. I am adding a pine cone tree myself this year rather than drag out all the decorations and larger tree.

Beautiful if spray painted gold for your xmas tree or for your front door or mantel wreath. Or with some twigs, leaves and red flowers (even paper flowers) for a xmas table centre piece. You can make beautiful tie backs combining it with hessian for a window treatment tie back.
