How to hang art work/etc. on curved walls? Revision #1

I was one of the numerous ones who answered. I thought it was curved horizontally! Well, now we've gotten you in a real mess! haha

Maybe you could stencil the wall or paint a scene or design on it. Let us know more about this, it's interesting!

Are you saying it is like a cone shape. If so you would need to hang your picture from a bracket.

I'd hang fluid art pieces like textiles: quilt, kimono ,rug etc. Use curved rods with clips, maybe store-bought or made by hand out of copper or another bendable metal.

O.K. so the wall curves from the top backwards. How long is the wall from floor to ceiling? Is this the only wall in this room (what room is it?) to hang art? My suggestion would be not to hang art in the usual way if indeed this is the wall you want to use, but to hang free swinging shelves from the wall, shelves that are like shallow boxes. Place any art you want to display within these boxes.

O.K. now I know exactly what you mean when you say Quonset hut. It still has a measurable height, length and width. And it must have interior divisions. for separate rooms . . . like bedrooms, bathrooms? I guess you could restrict your art hanging to those walls or as Fisher says use fabric art. I bet your interior temps are always the same. Is that right?

I would hang it from the top then screw two L-hooks into the wall at the bottom to hold it snug against the wall.

use Velcro on all four corners.

Am thinking of a design to place the sticky side of Velcro on the walls - so I can move Velcro backed frames around on them. Just don't think straight lines every 8"+/- down the wall is very appealing..... ( not to mention the color contrast between it & the wall paint....? )

To ensure that the wall tracks can hang fully, use extra fasteners when installing them. Fig. illustrates how you can quickly determine the curve of the wall you are considering when planning your installation by utilizing a yardstick (or meter stick) and a tape measure.
