I have a double volume open plan kitchen and TV/living room

This double volume volume wall in the living room is the focal point as the TV is mounted on that wall with a music system stand below it. It looks so bare and boring. What can I do with this wall to give it a wow factor. Please not bokshelves on either side that is so boring - everybody does that.

Hi Susan. You could purchase some mirrors and put them on each side of the TV. That is what I did and it didn't look clutter or take away from the TV.
Add art on the walls. Large pieces that make a statement. I would also do a seating height bookcase(s) either open or closed for storage.
So you have a picture you could post? I've never heard of a double volume wall. Is there another term for that?
