Can succulent plants be left outside over the winter in Missouri?

My mom left her hens and chicks in her garden over the winter when she lived in a suburb of Minneapolis, MN and they came back every year. If you check out the succulents you have, it should say what zones they are safe in to be outdoor perennials. I think the majority of them would probably annuals in Missouri.

if you have freezing below 32. You need to move or cover them
i live in central Ca and bring all of mine into covered patio and they do fine
They should be fine,if you are uncertain ,move them closer to the house for added protection and warmth
No, you will need to move them inside of they will die...place hem close to a window once inside.
some (Prickly pear, most sedums and stonecrops) will do just fine as long as the drainage is good.
most of the fancy ones? are not freeze-hardy, though.
