How fix spots that need refinishing on bathroom medicine chest mirrors

Good mounted cabinets have places on perimeter where the mirror is looking rusty, no longer like mirror. Is there an easy fix?

The backing comes off. You can refoil it as suggested.
Moisture and window cleaners if not caught before dripping to the bottom with "wick" up the back and destroy the silver. The entire back will need to be stripped.
