Area rug that won't stop pilling

Wool area rug that is over 1 year old and won't stop pilling! Every day, especially in front of seating. Have to sweep everyday! Any solutions?

Spray with Hair spray?
YES! My wool oriental rugs we’re doing this and drove me nuts🥜 I found this on Pinterest and it help ALOT and also slippers tend to start the pilling due to the friction 💩
1. Sweep irst with a broom
2. Vacuum gently
3. Use a razor
4. Maybe use fabric glue around the outer edges
Hair spray works amazingly well :)
